Heroically refusing to reveal the combination of the safe to station robbers, George Burdette, a car tagger, was tied to the track and left to his fate this morning. Burdette was rescued from the path of an approaching train by an aged negro, who barely escaped death. Burdette was alone in the station when the two robbers entered.
