Blindness is not a great handicap to Richard St. Cloud (above), 33-year-old blind Los Angeles nature sculptor. To check on the accuracy of his tiny clay figure of an alligator, St. Cloud is shown as he petted one of the amphibians at an alligator farm near Los Angeles. He has been blind since a boy of 8 when he struck an explosive cap with a hammer.
