Almost inevitably the dark-haired little girl at the left will some day be Queen-Empress Elizabeth. Only two things can prevent it: a child sired by her uncle, King Edward; a manchild sired by her father, the Duke of York.

Here is the daily schedule of 10-year-old Princess Elizabeth, who in all probability some day will be queen of Great Britain. Since her father ascended the throne a few days ago as King George VI, Princess Elizabeth is being groomed for the throne with meticulous care.
