Crowds gathered outside the shell of what once a four family home and green grocers at the corner of Summerhill and Langrish Place in Dublin. The fire was started by children outside playing with fireworks. One of the squibs landed in the store and a large tank of paraffin was ignited. Five people died, all women and children. January 1923.
