The Bishopsgate Institute hosts of the Libby Hall Dog Collection. It's not newspapers, but if you wanted to see old photographs of many dogs, they've put a lot of the collection on flickr. It's really great, actually, because it's so big and it has so many people who were all clearly of the opinion that their dog is the best dog.
