I recently read the book Thunderstruck by Erik Larson about both Marconi's invention of wireless telegraphy and the murder of Belle Elmore by her husband Dr. Harvey Crippen. It's mentioned in the book that the hunt to find Crippen was widely reported on the world over so I was curious if you have any clippings mentioning it? Especially among any small town newspapers as I wondered if it was big enough deal that even they'd print about it.

Oh yes! It was a big, big deal everywhere. Even the jokier columns on editorial pages in more rural places would make quips about Crippen (I wish I’d thought to clip some when I’d seen them).
