Hi! Just wondering, is there any more context for the catamount picture? Meaning, did the D.C. paper state the catamount was local or elsewhere? I ask because My alma mater's mascot is the catamount and I've never seen anything about the animal anywhere non-local. Thanks and also you are amazing 💜

This catamount was in Ohio; she says it was a lynx. I think a catamount can be any sort of mountain cat, I’ve heard a cougar here (Victoria BC) referred to as a catamount (well, one time, anyways).
