I’m not sure, really! I’ve always been interested in history. I think when I first started browsing tumblr I came across @questionableadvice and I thought “this is fantastic”. And then I follow a Facebook group which posts old stuff from my city, almost exclusively photos but also sometimes some articles from our newspaper’s archives. But for the most part it was things of local interest, information about people or buildings, occasionally they’d post something strange or funny but it definitely wasn’t the focus. So I looked around for blogs to follow that had old headlines and clippings and strange history and stuff like that but I couldn’t find any, so I ended up starting my own! 

I guess I just really enjoy looking back and time and seeing how much we’ve changed and more especially how much we haven’t!
