  4. largemargo said: @airedelalmena yep, you hit the nail on the head, congrats!
  5. airedelalmena said: @largemargo Oh okay so you’re just fully in denial and out of touch with reality then and willing to overlook tons of people’s experiences. Got it
  6. largemargo said: And if being transsexual specifically is something that isnt a social phenominon, how can it even exist. Biologically are men and womens brains different and can a male person be born with a female brain? To me it is absurd and also the idea of gendered brains sets feminism back so im just not into all that
  7. largemargo said: The idea of gender and sexuality being innate, to me is a reaction to the repression of Christianity in the west (where the idea comes from). And I dont think its productive or reflects my experience of reality
  8. largemargo said: By carl heinrich ulrichs that sexuality and gender identity are innate things. I think its likely that pre agriculture societies approached sex from a less patriarchal ownership based paradigm where all kinda of people had sex with all kinds of people for like clan cohesion, but thats just what ive heard. I think its hard to square biological basis for attraction with the idea people are attracted to gender and not sex, so thats where im coming from.
  9. largemargo said: @airedelalmena I dont think sexuality is innate either so you got me on that, though my oppinions on that are even more convoluted and potentially shocking. Ok f it ill bite, why would anyone chose heterosexuality in such an awful context. Who is that alluring for due to the toxicity with which our culture approaches it? I dont think anyone should or should not be gay or trans but i often wonder why these things ocur. it seems like were tied to this idea put forth
  10. airedelalmena said: @largemargo More condescension. Just realize your rhetoric is IDENTICAL to homophobia. “Poor traumatized women who got hurt by men and sexist society, choosing lesbian relationships for more freedom and to not be limited or hurt. In an ideal society they would be safe enough to embrace their true hetero nature and social problems wouldn’t make them have to think they’re gay!” Exactly the same as this “transness is all social, the poor dears” approach
  11. largemargo said: @airedelalmena ok, good for you homie 👍
  12. airedelalmena said: @largemargo Sexism and gender roles need to end for their own sake, because of the harm they bring. But people like me, whose physical issue is present no matter how much freedom we have been given in life, will continue to exist, no matter what.
  13. airedelalmena said: @largemargo Your condescending “defense” of us is unneeded and uninvited. I am not who I am due to “gender roles”. I was raised with freedom to express outside of gender roles, which I fully enjoyed, and still had physical sex dysphoria regardless. My transness is a need to have a body with different physical traits and that is purely all.
