Hello! I recently came across your blog and love it so much! I'm a fan of historic things, so this kind of blog definitely calls to me. Anyways, I write to you because I was wondering where you find your scans of that "Can You Beat It" comic. I can't seem to find much online. Thanks in advance!

Thank you!

I wish I knew where to find a collection of them, isn’t it a great comic?! I’ve been digging through the Boston Post archives (on newspapers.com - unfortunately there’s a paywall) to find them. There’s Chronicling America, run by the Library of Congress, where you can search archives for free, but sometimes it’s hard to find comics because the fonts don’t always lend themselves to the search function as well as regular type does. Unfortunately Chronicling America doesn’t have the Boston Post, but I’m sure Can You Beat It had a pretty large syndication!
