Jacques Futrelle was an author and journalist who died with the sinking of the Titanic. His wife, Lily May Peel, survived. A lot of her claims seem a little heavy-handed, for example, she said the last time she saw her husband he was standing on deck sharing cigars with John Jacob Astor IV.
